THE SHORT ANSWER

There is no single best motion design studio for SaaS: pick by job. For a flagship animated explainer with a project budget, established explainer studios such as Yum Yum Videos, Demo Duck or Breadnbeyond publish timelines of about 5 to 10 weeks. For many assets a month including live action, a subscription agency such as Vidico. For a custom product video most months, delivered in hours, Sitso (our product) does one video a month up to 1:15 in under 4 hours for $2,500 a month.

The short list, by job

Facts below are what each company publishes on its own site (checked October 26, 2026). We have not ranked them by quality: we sort them by the job they fit best. Sitso is our product, so read that row critically.

What makes a motion design studio good for SaaS

SaaS video is mostly product video. Five criteria separate studios that fit a software company from studios that don't:

  • Real interface work in the portfolio: animated UI, not only characters and icons. Your product is the hero of a launch video.
  • A timeline that matches your release pace: if you ship every month, a 6-week production cycle means most releases go out without a video.
  • Revisions in writing: how many rounds are included, and what happens after the last one.
  • Formats included: 16:9 for the site and YouTube, 9:16 for social, thumbnails, captions. Extra formats are often billed separately.
  • Ownership: you should own the final files for commercial use, anywhere.

1. Sitso: custom product videos, delivered in hours (our product)

Sitso is a SaaS platform that creates motion design videos only for SaaS companies. You paste your website URL; Sitso automatically extracts your brand kit, reads your brand and real interface, proposes three ideas, writes the script, directs and animates the video, adds voice, music and sound, and quality judges review the cut before it reaches you. Sitso Pro is $2,500 a month for one video up to 1:15, delivered in under 4 hours in 4K 16:9 and 9:16 with 3 thumbnails, and unlimited changes until you approve. Extra videos are $2,500. A 20-second teaser is free, one per account.

Not a fit if you need live action, real presenters on camera, or a video longer than 1:15. Details: What is Sitso? and pricing.

2. Yum Yum Videos: custom animated explainers

An animated explainer studio that publishes its own pricing research: its explainers start at $8,000, and it puts a fully custom explainer at about 6 to 8 weeks (Yum Yum Videos). A fit for one animated explainer with a project budget and time to review each stage.

3. Demo Duck: flagship explainers and live action

A Chicago video studio that recommends budgeting at least $16,000 for an explainer done right, and describes a typical project as 8 to 10 weeks with 5 to 15 people involved (Demo Duck). A fit for a flagship video you will keep for years.

4. Breadnbeyond: explainers on a tighter budget

An explainer studio with packages “from $1,000”, unlimited revisions and a standard delivery of 5 to 7 weeks (Breadnbeyond). A fit when budget matters more than speed.

5. Vidico: a full-service video subscription

A B2B video production company with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and New York. In August 2026 it described its model as a monthly subscription from about $5,000 to $16,500+ a month covering 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, live action and UI walkthroughs (Vidico); for a standard 60–90 second project it describes several weeks from script to revisions (Vidico). A fit for marketing teams that produce many assets a month, including shoots.

6. A freelance motion designer

Upwork lists median rates of $18 to $35 an hour for motion graphics designers. Great value with the right person, but you write the brief, manage the timeline and review every step. A fit for small jobs when someone on your team can run the project.

How to choose in one minute

Start from your next twelve months of video, not from the vendor list:

  • One flagship film, big story or live action: Demo Duck or Vidico.
  • One animated explainer, project budget: compare Yum Yum Videos and Breadnbeyond quotes on the same brief.
  • A product video most months, fast, in your brand: Sitso.
  • Very small budget and time to spare: a freelancer, or DIY tools for simple videos.
